A notorious hacker group from Indonesia has once again threatened India with a major cyber attack. The group, known as Genosec Team, issued the threat based on some statements made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Central intelligence agencies have uncovered the plot of Indonesian cyber criminals and have thwarted their plans.

Security agencies are not taking any chances with this matter. All cyber experts in the country have been put on high alert. They are fully prepared to handle any form of attack. Their websites have been updated to ensure maximum security.

According to sources from the intelligence agencies, the Genosec Team had planned to target India’s key government institutions with cyber attacks. They also had plans to infiltrate the cyber space and shut down thousands of websites. The gang had been preparing for an operation called ‘Operation India’ on April 30th. Due to timely intervention by intelligence agencies, their plans were exposed and a strong response was put in place.

This is not the first time that the gang has threatened India with cyber attacks. The cyber experts from central intelligence agencies have ensured that all websites in the country are updated and ready to handle any threat. Cyber experts believe that the gang has tried to spread religious extremism worldwide, targeting countries like the USA, Australia, UK, and Israel in cyber space but have not been very successful.
