In the past five years, ticket sales have skyrocketed, jumping from about six million in 2020 to an expected 17 million by the conclusion of 2024. Interestingly, revenue from box office sales has experienced an incredible 90 percent increase, soaring from SR445 million (around $118.7 million) to SR845 million (about $225.3 million).

Local productions have played a crucial role in this expansion. The income from Saudi films alone reached over SR120 million ($32 million), marking a substantial increase from SR13 million ($3.47 million) in 2020. In addition, the gathering featured over 60 expert speakers ready to share their insights across various areas of the film industry and included around 50 interactive workshops focused on pivotal topics.
