In a strategic move to bolster its presence in the India, Middle East, Turkey, and Africa (IMETA) region, Exabeam has announced key executive appointments aimed at addressing the unique cybersecurity needs of these markets. Mazen Adnan Dohaji will take on the role of Senior Vice President and General Manager for IMETA, while Ramy Muhammad Ahmad has been named Senior Director of Sales Engineering for the region. Additionally, Sultan Alanazi will serve as the Country Director for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Leadership Modifications to Enhance Local Expertise
Dohaji and Ahmad bring over ten years of experience in leading the IMETA team, which has grown from a mere two members to a robust force of more than 70 professionals. Their collective efforts have not only driven the expansion of Exabeam’s operations but have also supported significant growth in the region, targeting a high double-digit increase expected between 2024 and 2025. Under Dohaji’s leadership as Senior Vice President, he will oversee sales initiatives, technical support, and customer advocacy to ensure tailored and effective cybersecurity solutions for local organizations.
Commitment to Local Cybersecurity Needs
Mazen Adnan Dohaji expressed pride in Exabeam’s reputation as a trusted partner, stating, “We’ve been helping customers scale their security whether they operate on-premises or in the cloud.” Throughout his extensive career in the IMETA region, he has observed the transformation of cybersecurity from traditional defenses to sophisticated, AI-driven solutions. With a commitment to long-term investment in cybersecurity for local organizations, Dohaji aims to address the rapidly changing security landscape and support businesses as they navigate these challenges.
Empowering Organizations with Tailored Solutions
Ramy Muhammad Ahmad, stepping into the role of Senior Director of Sales Engineering, aims to equip organizations with a blend of technical expertise and a customer-oriented approach. His in-depth knowledge of security solutions will be instrumental in helping businesses establish a solid cybersecurity framework that meets specific regional requirements. Ahmad noted, “Cybersecurity in the IMETA region will never be a one-size-fits-all approach,” emphasizing the necessity for tailored solutions that consider local operational and regulatory environments.
Leading Cybersecurity Initiatives in Saudi Arabia
Sultan Alanazi, as the new Country Director for KSA, is tasked with driving cybersecurity operations that align with the Kingdom’s ambitious digital growth goals under Saudi Vision 2030. Alanazi plans to work closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to facilitate scalable and effective security strategies. He highlighted, “Meeting its evolving security needs requires service, accountability, and long-term value creation,” demonstrating a commitment to enhancing the region’s cyber resilience.
Ongoing Investments in the IMETA Region
These leadership changes are part of Exabeam’s broader commitment to investing in the IMETA region. The company has recently joined forces with Al Moammar Information Systems Co. (MIS) and is also planning to open an expanded office in Riyadh. This new facility will feature a Customer Innovation Center, focusing on showcasing advanced AI capabilities across various sectors, including IT, operational technology (OT), and the Internet of Things (IoT). Through these initiatives, Exabeam aims to further solidify its position as a leader in providing cybersecurity solutions tailored to the unique challenges of the IMETA region.
The appointments of Dohaji, Ahmad, and Alanazi mark a significant step in Exabeam’s journey to enhance cybersecurity measures across the IMETA region, ensuring that local businesses can thrive in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
