Intersec Dubai: $16.7 Billion in Security Deals Generated

The 25th edition of Intersec held in Dubai earlier this year has proved to be a game-changer for the security industry, with potential business deals totaling over USD$16.7 billion. The event witnessed significant partnerships and agreements that are set to revolutionize the sector.

One of the key highlights was the strategic agreement between Moro Hub and the Judicial Inspection Authority (JIA) to implement a comprehensive Judicial Performance Management system, showcasing the importance of technological advancements in security. Additionally, Digital Mobility Services (DMS) – Econocom partnered with Streamax to develop smart transportation systems in Saudi Arabia, utilizing advanced AI to enhance public transport efficiency.

Grant Tuchten, Portfolio Director at Intersec organiser Messe Frankfurt Middle East, emphasized the event’s role in fostering business partnerships and driving industry growth. With the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) homeland security market forecasted to reach US$15,601.75 million by 2028, Intersec’s influence is more crucial than ever.

As Intersec prepares for its 26th edition in 2025, the event is set to continue its trajectory of success. With an expected 15% growth in exhibitors and a 10% rise in visitor numbers, Intersec is poised to attract industry leaders from over 140 countries. The event will also feature 12 country pavilions, further solidifying its position as a global hub for networking and innovation in safety, security, and fire protection.
