9 in 10 organisations in the UAE and KSA are well positioned for innovation in AI

In a recent study conducted by Dell Technologies Innovation Catalyst Research, it has been revealed that 9 out of 10 organizations in the UAE and Saudi Arabia are well positioned for innovation in Artificial Intelligence (AI). This groundbreaking research shows that these businesses have a solid strategy in place for GenAI and AI growth, positioning them competitively in the market.

Despite this positive outlook, half of the respondents in both countries are uncertain about what their industries will look like in the next three to five years. Additionally, nearly 8 out of 10 organizations are struggling to keep pace with the rapidly evolving technological landscape. The main challenges cited include a lack of the right talent, data privacy and cybersecurity concerns, and budget constraints.

Respondents from the UAE and Saudi Arabia recognize the transformative potential of GenAI in improving IT security posture and enhancing customer experience. However, they also express concerns about new security and privacy issues that may arise with the adoption of GenAI tools.

Mohammed Amin, Sr. Vice President of CEEMETA at Dell Technologies, emphasized the importance of embedding innovation into corporate identity to stay ahead in the market. He believes that by leveraging GenAI and other transformative innovations, businesses can enhance their capabilities and boost productivity levels significantly.

Overall, the research highlights the growing importance of innovation in the UAE and KSA, as organizations strive to adapt to the ever-changing technological landscape and stay competitive in the global market.
