The ninth edition of the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR 2026) recently concluded in Abu Dhabi, marking a significant milestone in the realm of global security. His Excellency Major General Dr. Ahmed Naser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee of ISNR 2026, emphasized the event’s success in uniting industry leaders and decision-makers. The 2026 edition recorded a 19% increase in exhibitors, with national companies making up 60% of the total. The Code Breaker Hackathon provided participants with a hands-on experience in tackling cybersecurity challenges. By simulating digital attack scenarios, participants engaged in vulnerability analysis and countermeasures, underscoring the critical role of skill and technology in safeguarding systems.
Focus on Family and Digital Safety
The final day of ISNR 2026 included discussions on digital security for families, emphasizing the need for community engagement in addressing modern technological risks. The session highlighted the integration of smart visual consultation systems to enhance community security by ensuring efficient case management.
The discussions also stressed the importance of digital awareness, particularly in protecting children from cyber threats. Families were identified as the first line of defense against risks, with an emphasis on raising awareness and collaborating with authorities to safeguard future generations.
The impact of addiction to electronic devices was also addressed, revealing that average usage of 6-7 hours daily can weaken family relationships. The session called for active engagement with services provided by relevant authorities to address cybercrimes, ensuring confidentiality for victims.
