Strengthening Security Posture: Khimji Ramdas Group Partners with Rimini Street for Third Party Support – A Discussion with Prashant Kumar

The Khimji Ramdas Group has made a strategic move by partnering with Rimini Street for third party support, aiming to strengthen the company’s security posture across its ERP and IT systems. Prashant Kumar, CTO of the Khimji Ramdas Group, shed light on how Rimini Street’s support model has positively impacted their operations.

According to Kumar, one of the key factors that led to the decision to partner with Rimini Street was their expertise in SAP. With consultants well-versed in all SAP modules used by the company, Rimini Street stood out as the most cost-effective option after careful evaluation of several partners.

The transition to Rimini Street has allowed the Khimji Ramdas Group to maintain their current ECC platform, rather than opting for a move to S/4HANA as suggested by SAP. This flexibility in IT strategy has given the company the freedom to chart their own course and allocate resources according to their priorities.

In terms of cybersecurity, Rimini Street’s support model has been crucial in mitigating the lack of updates from SAP. Working closely with the infrastructure team, Rimini Street ensures that the company’s systems remain well-protected and resilient against potential cyber threats.

Looking ahead, Kumar emphasized the importance of continuous training for employees to enhance cybersecurity awareness and prevent breaches. With a focus on data privacy and agility in IT infrastructure, the Khimji Ramdas Group is well-positioned to navigate the evolving cybersecurity landscape and safeguard their operations against potential risks.
