VeeamON Tour Dubai highlights data security and AI trust for regional organisations

Published:

Veeam Software is set to host the VeeamON Tour Dubai on October 27, 2026, at Address Sky View, gathering over 400 industry leaders, IT decision-makers, and security professionals. The event will focus on the critical intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI), data security, and cyber resilience, under the theme “Data and AI Trust in the Agentic Era.” This initiative comes as the UAE leads globally in AI adoption, with 70.1% of its working-age population reportedly utilizing AI technologies, according to the Microsoft Global AI Diffusion Report.

The VeeamON Tour aims to address how organizations can safeguard the data that fuels their AI initiatives, especially as autonomous AI agents increasingly engage with vital business information. Mena Migally, Regional Vice President for EMEA East at Veeam, emphasized the need for organizations to rethink their data governance strategies in light of evolving risks associated with AI. “AI is changing how organizations create value from their data, but it is also fundamentally changing the risk landscape,” Migally stated.

Focus on Data Security and AI Trust

The event will delve into the necessity for robust data foundations, effective identity and access controls, and resilient infrastructures that empower organizations to innovate while managing emerging risks. As AI becomes more integrated into business operations, ensuring the security and accuracy of the data that feeds these systems is paramount.

On October 15, Veeam announced the general availability of Veeam Intelligent ResOps for Microsoft 365, a solution designed to enhance organizations’ understanding of AI interactions with their data. This offering is part of Veeam’s broader DataAI Command Platform, which aims to unify data resilience, security, identity, access, and AI governance, thereby establishing a trusted foundation for AI adoption.

Program Highlights and Collaborative Efforts

The VeeamON Tour will feature a series of executive perspectives, technical sessions, and discussions aimed at translating data and AI trust principles into actionable strategies. Key sessions will include:

  • Data & AI Trust Converge for the Agentic Era: Presented by Tim Pfaelzer, this session will explore the evolving relationship between AI innovation and data security.
  • Customer Panel: Data & AI Trust in Practice: This panel will provide insights from customers on the challenges of implementing trusted data strategies.
  • Securing M365 Resilience in the AI Era: Featuring experts from Microsoft, this session will focus on the requirements for protecting Microsoft 365 data.

Collaboration will be a key theme, with global sponsors such as Microsoft, AWS, and HPE supporting the event. The platform will facilitate discussions among customers, technology vendors, and channel partners, fostering a collaborative approach to building secure and resilient IT environments.

“Building trust in the Agentic era requires a collaborative approach that connects data protection, security, infrastructure, and governance,” Migally noted. The VeeamON Tour Dubai aims to equip attendees with the insights and practical knowledge necessary to enhance resilience and lay the groundwork for responsible AI adoption in the future.
