IDC Saudi Arabia CIO Summit 2024: A Recap of the Event’s Highlights

The 14th annual IDC Saudi Arabia CIO Summit proved to be a resounding success as it welcomed over 900 of the kingdom’s top IT leaders, visionaries, and decision-makers at the prestigious Fairmont Riyadh.

Hosted by the International Data Corporation (IDC), the two-day summit on September 18-19 focused on the theme ‘The Future of IT: Rethinking Digitalization for an AI Everywhere World’. The event provided a crucial platform for empowering Saudi Arabia’s IT leaders to navigate and excel in this new era.

Hamza Naqshbandi, IDC’s Vice President of Custom Solutions for the Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa and Country Leader for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, highlighted the significance of artificial intelligence in Saudi Arabia’s vision for a dynamic and future-ready economy. He emphasized the kingdom’s commitment to AI innovation as a key driver of sustainable growth, security, and opportunities for future generations.
