Endor Labs Names Karl Mattson as Chief Information Security Officer
Endor Labs, a pioneering company in open-source software security, has appointed industry veteran Karl Mattson as its first Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
With over 25 years of experience in cybersecurity and technology strategy, Karl brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role at Endor Labs. His diverse background includes leadership positions in major corporations across various industries such as financial services and retail. This experience will be invaluable as Endor Labs continues its mission to secure the software supply chain by identifying and addressing hidden risks in open-source software dependencies.

Prior to joining Endor Labs, Karl served as CISO at Noname Security, specializing in API and application security, before its acquisition by Akamai. He has also held leadership positions at City National Bank and PennyMac Financial Services, demonstrating his commitment to cybersecurity and industry advocacy.
