The survey also indicates that 90% of U.S. companies are currently utilizing AI-assisted cybersecurity tools, with AI-driven threat detection and monitoring being the most popular features. These include real-time monitoring, advanced malware detection, threat intelligence integration, and routine task automation.

To help IT leaders harness the full potential of AI in cybersecurity, the report offers three key recommendations. These include planning around AI’s cyberthreat prevention strengths, prioritizing human-in-the-loop approaches to ensure proper oversight, and ensuring data is prepared for AI integration by focusing on data management and governance.
