Dark Web Platform Dogequest Resurfaces, Poses New Threats to Tesla Owners

Dark Web Platform Dogequest Reemerges, Intensifies Threats Toward Tesla Owners

In a troubling development for Tesla owners and law enforcement, the dark web platform Dogequest has resurfaced, amplifying threats against the electric vehicle community. This resurgence follows the recent arrests of three individuals by the Department of Justice (DOJ) linked to incidents involving Tesla properties.

Now operating under the name DOGEQUEST Unleashed, the site has expanded its database to include sensitive personal information about Tesla owners, such as names, addresses, and contact details. Additionally, it provides data on Tesla dealerships, supercharger locations, and employees from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a reform group associated with Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Authorities are alarmed by the site’s dual role as a protest hub and a platform that some critics argue incites vandalism and harassment. Dogequest promotes itself as a "decentralized revolutionary system," urging visitors to connect with fellow Tesla supporters and DOGE advocates. Despite the site’s dark web presence, its standard version remains active, complicating efforts to shut it down.

The reemergence of Dogequest coincides with a disturbing rise in attacks on Tesla dealerships and vehicles across the United States. In response, the FBI has established a special task force to investigate these incidents, while the DOJ has warned that those targeting Tesla properties will face severe legal repercussions. Attorney General Pamela Bondi has announced stricter penalties for such crimes, categorizing them as domestic terrorism.

Political tensions have also escalated, with Bondi issuing a warning to Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett after she suggested action against Musk. Bondi reassured Tesla owners of their protection under law enforcement as threats continue to mount. As the situation evolves, authorities remain vigilant, closely monitoring risks to both Tesla and its supporters.
