Google Cloud Appoints Noor Al-Sulaiti as Head of Security Business Development and Government Relations for META Region

Google Cloud has made a significant announcement with the appointment of Noor Al-Sulaiti as the Head of Security Business Development and Government Relations for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa region (META). Noor, a seasoned industry veteran known for her innovative leadership, brings a wealth of experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors to her new role.

This appointment underscores Google Cloud’s commitment to the region and its dedication to safeguarding governments’ digital assets. Noor will be responsible for spearheading Google’s security expansion in the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa, highlighting the increasing importance of cybersecurity for the company.

In her new position, Noor will focus on fostering strategic partnerships with the public sector to leverage Google Cloud’s cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, including Cybershield. This powerful cybersecurity solution is tailored specifically for governments and emphasizes the concept of organizations uniting in their defense against shared attackers.

Noor’s impressive career includes her role as CEO of Ooredoo Oman, where she became the youngest and first female CEO in the company’s history. She led the transformation of the organization into a digitally led, data-powered, and customer-centric entity. Prior to this, Noor served as the CEO of Starlink in Qatar and held leadership positions in Kuwait.

Expressing her excitement about joining Google Cloud, Noor Al-Sulaiti stated, “I am honored to join Google Cloud, a company that has inspired me throughout my career.
