- CVE-2025-53767: An Azure OpenAI Elevation of Privilege vulnerability with a severity score of 10.0.
- CVE-2025-53792: An elevation of privilege issue within the Azure Portal, rated at 9.1.
- CVE-2025-50171 and CVE-2025-50165: Flaws affecting Remote Desktop, both rated 9.0 or higher.
Additionally, the update addressed 13 other vulnerabilities rated 8.8, impacting various components, including SQL Server and Windows Media. A specific NTLM flaw rated 8.8 was flagged as particularly high-risk.
Among the top ten vulnerabilities that are considered likely to be exploited is CVE-2025-53786, which affects Exchange Server Hybrid Deployments. Reports indicate that approximately 28,000 Exchange instances remain unpatched, underscoring the importance of timely updates.
Noteworthy Flaws
The patch also highlights vulnerabilities like CVE-2025-53778 (Windows NTLM), CVE-2025-50177 (MSMQ), and CVE-2025-53132 (Win32k), which should be addressed urgently by IT teams to reduce risk exposure.
