Ajman Unveils $490 Million AM30x30 Agenda to Strengthen Urban Infrastructure and Community Wellbeing

Ajman Municipality has officially launched the AM30x30 agenda, a comprehensive initiative encompassing 30 projects across five strategic packages, with a total investment of AED1.8 billion ($490 million). This ambitious plan aims to enhance the emirate’s urban landscape and community wellbeing, aligning with the broader objectives of Ajman Vision 2030.

Integrated Urban Roadmap

The AM30x30 agenda serves as an integrated urban roadmap designed to elevate Ajman’s status as a model of urban development. This initiative is not merely about infrastructure; it embodies a vision for a prosperous and attractive emirate, focusing on improving the quality of life for its residents. The agenda is particularly significant as it aligns with the Year of the Family, prioritizing community-centric developments that enhance family cohesion and social wellbeing.

HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, emphasized the transformative nature of this agenda. He stated that it marks a pivotal phase in Ajman’s urban development journey towards 2030, reflecting the emirate’s commitment to investing in projects that bolster its competitiveness and enhance community wellbeing.

Commitment to Sustainable Infrastructure

The AM30x30 agenda comprises five main packages focused on developing roads, infrastructure, and sustainable mobility. This strategic approach is designed to build an integrated mobility system that improves the quality and connectivity of the road network while supporting modern mobility patterns for pedestrians and cyclists.

The Department aims to increase the average implementation of new roads by 43% from 2026 to 2030 compared to previous years. Additionally, there is a target for a 33% increase in the length of cycling tracks by 2030, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable transportation options.

The third package aims at four main projects, including the development of Al Tallah Street (Phase Two) and road construction in the Al Helio area. It also includes widening and maintenance efforts for Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street, ensuring that these vital routes meet the demands of a growing population.

Package Four: Cycling Infrastructure Expansion

The fourth package targets the implementation of four projects that focus on expanding cycling tracks in Ajman city and the cities of Masfout and Al Manama, totaling 16 km. This package also includes the Al Uqdah Walkway project, which aims to enhance pedestrian mobility.
