Allo Beirut: A New Chapter in the Heart of Lebanon

A Warm Welcome Back to Lebanon

In an exciting development for food lovers, Allo Beirut is set to open its first location in Lebanon by late October 2025. Situated on Hamra Street, one of the city’s most vibrant thoroughfares, this launch signifies a heartfelt return to the city that inspired the brand’s inception.

Franchise Expansion: Partnering for Success

The expansion into Lebanon is made possible through a franchise agreement with Fashmore Holding. This collaboration highlights a strategic move for Allo Beirut, which launched its first outlet in 2018. Since then, the brand has grown its presence across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain, making the entrance into Lebanon its fourth market.

Charbel Mhanna, the CEO of Black Spoon Group—which owns Allo Beirut—expressed pride in this homecoming announcement. He emphasized the significance of returning to Beirut, stating, “For the past seven years, we’ve been celebrating Beirut’s food, energy, and spirit across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain.”

An Iconic Location: Hamra Street

Recognized as the cultural heartbeat of Beirut, Hamra Street encapsulates the vibrant essence that Allo Beirut aims to portray. Mhanna added that the energetic atmosphere of this location mirrors the spirit of their brand perfectly. Alongside Fashmore Holding, the team is committed to delivering an authentic experience that not only celebrates the flavors of Beirut but also captures its unique essence.

Venue Details: A Modern Take on Tradition

Spanning 675 square meters over three levels, the restaurant will accommodate around 100 guests. Designed with an open-concept layout, the venue aims to recreate the bustling ambiance of Beirut’s streets. Patrons can expect dedicated stations for beloved local specialties such as manoushe, shawarma, and refreshing juices.

Each floor will offer a distinct experience while maintaining the cohesive identity of Allo Beirut. A special grab-and-go section caters to the fast-paced lifestyle of Hamra’s urban clientele, ensuring that delicious food is always within reach. The menu will feature signature dishes as well as new creations tailored for local tastes.

The menu will include the brand’s signature dishes alongside new additions created for the local market.

The Vision Behind the Partnership

Bassam Assaad, Chairman of Fashmore Holding, articulated the alignment of their vision with that of Allo Beirut. He noted that their partnership is grounded in the belief that successful concepts resonate with both people and place. “Allo Beirut captures the essence of a city,” Assaad remarked. “Bringing it back to where it all began is incredibly meaningful. This is more than a franchise; it’s a full-circle story.”

Future Plans: Growing in Lebanon

Following the Hamra opening, Black Spoon Group and Fashmore Holding have ambitious plans for growth, with aims to establish three to five additional locations throughout Lebanon in the next two to three years. As they explore potential sites for future branches, the focus remains on creating experiences that resonate with local culture and appetite.

The Lebanon expansion is a crucial part of Allo Beirut’s regional growth strategy. The brand has thrived in the UAE since its launch and has successfully entered the Saudi and Bahraini markets, establishing a trend that seems set to continue.

With its impending launch, Allo Beirut promises to bring a slice of Lebanon’s culinary culture back to its roots, inviting both locals and visitors to savor the flavors and spirit of this captivating city once more.
