Alstom Inaugurates Regional Headquarters in Riyadh, Signifying Commitment to Sustainable Mobility and Innovation

Alstom, a prominent player in green and smart mobility solutions, has opened its regional headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking a significant milestone in the company’s commitment to sustainable transportation.

The new headquarters, strategically located in the capital city, will serve as a hub for Alstom’s operations in the Gulf region and beyond. This move is aimed at driving growth, improving project oversight, and enhancing railway maintenance practices in the region.

Mohamed Khalil, the newly appointed Managing Director of Alstom’s Regional Headquarters in Riyadh, expressed excitement about the opening, highlighting Riyadh’s reputation as a talent hub with skilled professionals who will drive innovation and growth for the company.

The inauguration also saw the establishment of the Services Digital Centre, which will focus on advancing condition-based and predictive maintenance for railway assets. This initiative aligns with Alstom’s commitment to leveraging technology for operational efficiency and reliability.

The presence of key dignitaries, including His Excellency Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Minister of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Gautam Sashittal, CEO of KAFD, underscored the significance of the partnership between Saudi Arabia and France in advancing their respective economic plans.

With a strong legacy of over 70 years, Alstom continues to lead in technological advancements and environmental responsibility. The opening of the new regional headquarters in Riyadh is a testament to the company’s dedication to driving sustainable mobility solutions and shaping the future of railway development in the region.
