Cicada3301 Claims Responsibility for Tri-Star Display Cyberattack

The notorious ransomware group Cicada3301 has recently claimed responsibility for a significant data breach at Tri-Star Display Pte Ltd, a renowned event design and manufacturing company based in Singapore. According to Cicada3301’s dark web shame site, over 95GB of sensitive data has been stolen in the cyberattack that occurred on July 26, 2024.

As the claims made by Cicada3301 shook the cybersecurity world, The Cyber Express team took the initiative to reach out to Tri-Star Display’s officials for verification. However, as of now, no official response has been received from the company, leaving the claims unconfirmed and the situation precarious.

If the claims are indeed substantiated, the implications of the Tri-Star Display cyberattack could be severe.
