Cohesity Expands Cyber Event Response Team (CERT) Service with Leading Incident Response Partnerships

Cohesity Expands Cyber Event Response Team to Combat Rising Cyber Threats

In a bold move to enhance cybersecurity resilience, Cohesity has announced the expansion of its Cyber Event Response Team (CERT) service, forging partnerships with top incident response (IR) vendors, including Palo Alto Networks Unit 42, Arctic Wolf, Sophos, Fenix24, and Semperis. This initiative aims to bolster organizations’ defenses against the increasing frequency and sophistication of cyberattacks.

Since its inception in 2021, the Cohesity CERT has provided invaluable support to businesses navigating high-stakes security incidents. By integrating the expertise of leading IR firms, the CERT team is set to revolutionize the traditional incident response process. The collaboration allows for the sharing of critical operational data—such as logs and reports—enabling faster investigations and more efficient recovery from cyber incidents.

“Organizations need assurance that they can bounce back faster, stronger, and smarter,” said Sanjay Poonen, CEO of Cohesity. “Our expanded CERT service is a testament to our commitment to empowering businesses with the tools and expertise necessary to navigate cyber crises effectively.”

The partnership promises to minimize business disruptions and financial losses by providing a comprehensive, coordinated response to incidents. Cohesity’s methodology ensures that customers can swiftly detect, investigate, and recover from attacks, while maintaining communication with their chosen IR partners throughout the process.

With cybercriminals becoming increasingly emboldened, the stakes have never been higher. “Time and information are critical in incident response,” noted Kerri Shafer-Page, Vice President of Incident Response at Arctic Wolf. “Cohesity’s quick response toolkit enables a more comprehensive investigation and quicker recovery.”

As cyber threats continue to evolve, Cohesity’s CERT expansion positions it as a leader in the fight against cybercrime, ensuring that organizations can safeguard their data and maintain operational integrity in an uncertain digital landscape.
