Cohesity and CrowdStrike Partner to Enhance Threat Detection and Response

Cohesity and CrowdStrike have joined forces to enhance threat detection and response capabilities, setting a new standard for cybersecurity in backup and recovery solutions. This strategic partnership combines Cohesity’s data protection expertise with CrowdStrike’s world-class threat intelligence feeds.

According to CrowdStrike’s 2024 Global Threat Report, cyber adversaries are evolving their tactics, including credential harvesting and exploiting vulnerabilities, to bypass traditional defenses. By integrating Cohesity Data Cloud with CrowdStrike Falcon Adversary Intelligence, the partnership aims to level the playing field against sophisticated cyber threats.

The collaboration enables mutual customers to identify the latest threats in their backup copies with precision, leveraging CrowdStrike’s threat intel feeds tracking over 250 adversaries. This increased visibility into attacks allows for proactive threat hunting and response activities without compromising investigations.

Craig Martell, CTO of Cohesity, emphasized the importance of elevating organizations’ threat detection and response abilities in today’s threat landscape.
