Modernizing Paris-Beauvais Airport: A Major Investment in Infrastructure

Paris, France – The Paris-Beauvais Airport is set to undergo significant enhancements in its infrastructure, thanks to a new five-year investment initiative spearheaded by Dar, a prominent company under Sidara. This ambitious program aims to modernize and expand the airport, which currently accommodates approximately five million passengers annually.

A Collaborative Effort

The project is launched by SPV Bellova and will be executed by a design-build consortium that includes well-known entities such as Bouygues Bâtiment Grand Ouest, Bouygues Bâtiment International, Egis Avia, Egis Bâtiment, and Ameller Dubois. The comprehensive modernization plan encompasses various components including airside and landside upgrades, parking facilities, building constructions, and the installation of advanced equipment.

Role of Dar as Independent Engineer

As the appointed Independent Engineer, Dar will operate through its local branch, Dar France. The company’s responsibilities include auditing the design phases, monitoring construction progress, and overseeing the acceptance of the project. Dar will also supervise the resolution of any ongoing issues until the conclusion of the defect liability period.
