Darktrace Expands Presence in the MENA Region with New Riyadh Office

Darktrace, a leader in AI-powered cybersecurity, has announced the opening of a new office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This initiative is part of the company’s broader strategy to enhance its services across the Kingdom and the wider Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The Riyadh location is expected to significantly strengthen Darktrace’s commitment to delivering tailored cybersecurity solutions to its customers and partners.

Strengthening Regional Footprint

Since establishing its Dubai office in 2017, Darktrace has developed a robust presence in the MENA region, currently servicing around 280 customers. The Riyadh office, located in the iconic Kingdom Centre, will serve as a key hub, enabling the company to provide localized expertise and technical support. By enhancing customer engagement and partner interactions, Darktrace aims to foster deeper relationships and ensure that its solutions meet the specific needs of the region.

Accelerating Growth

The decision to open a Riyadh office comes at a time when Darktrace is experiencing exceptional growth in the MENA market, with an impressive annual growth rate exceeding 40% over the past five years. Currently employing approximately 30 personnel across the region, this number is projected to increase with the establishment of the new office.

Darktrace collaborates with a strong network of partners in the region, including notable firms like Alnafitha IT and Innovative Solutions. These partnerships enable the company to deliver comprehensive cybersecurity solutions that address the unique challenges faced by organizations within the MENA landscape.

Capitalizing on AI Investments

With Saudi Arabia’s substantial investment of over $14.9 billion in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, the Kingdom’s cybersecurity market is poised for significant growth, estimated to expand at a rate of up to 13% annually. Nicole Eagan, Co-Founder and Strategic Advisor at Darktrace, emphasized the strategic importance of the company’s presence in Riyadh, stating, “Our location in Riyadh ensures we can support organizations in one of the most rapid and dynamic markets worldwide.”

This focus on local operations not only positions Darktrace to better serve its existing clientele but also opens doors to new opportunities in a thriving market. The company aims to leverage its AI-driven approach to empower organizations in navigating cybersecurity threats and evolving technological landscapes.

Upcoming Initiatives and Community Engagement

Set to officially open in January 2026, the Riyadh office will play a pivotal role in Darktrace’s regional strategy. Excitingly, Darktrace will be a Platinum sponsor of the British Embassy in Riyadh and the British Consulate in Jeddah during the upcoming celebrations of the King’s Birthday on November 17 and 19, 2025. Additionally, the company will have a presence at the Black Hat MEA 2025, a prominent cybersecurity event, showcasing its commitment to engaging with the community and promoting the importance of cybersecurity.

By establishing a base in Riyadh, Darktrace not only aims to broaden its operational capabilities but also to enhance its role within the vibrant technological ecosystem of Saudi Arabia. This strategic move aligns with the company’s mission to be at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation and support in a region that is rapidly advancing in technology.
