Enhancing Transparency in Real Estate: Dubai Land Department’s AI-Driven Advertising Governance Platform

Dubai Land Department Unveils AI-Driven Real Estate Advertising Governance

Dubai — In a groundbreaking initiative, the Dubai Land Department (DLD) has launched its AI-powered Real Estate Advertising Governance Platform, aimed at enhancing transparency and credibility in real estate advertisements. This innovative platform, unveiled during GITEX 2024, is part of DLD’s commitment to modernizing the real estate sector and aligns with the objectives of Dubai AI Week, which runs from April 21 to 25.

Since its inception, the platform has monitored over 279,000 real estate advertisements across major platforms like Property Finder, Dubizzle, and Bayut. Remarkably, 29% of these listings were automatically modified using artificial intelligence, showcasing the platform’s efficiency in ensuring compliance with established standards.

Ali Abdullah Al Ali, Director of the Real Estate Control Department at DLD, emphasized the importance of this initiative. “These results reaffirm our ongoing commitment to advancing real estate market oversight through cutting-edge technology,” he stated. The platform not only enhances investor and consumer confidence but also reinforces Dubai’s position as a global hub for real estate innovation.

The daily monitoring conducted through this platform ensures full compliance with regulations, elevating transparency within the market. Al Ali noted that the use of AI represents a strategic tool reflecting DLD’s direction toward digital innovation and high-quality service standards.

In addition to the governance platform, DLD has introduced the ‘Madmoun’ electronic service within the Trakheesi system, which generates a QR code for every real estate advertisement permit. This initiative allows customers to verify the authenticity of advertisements quickly, further strengthening investor confidence.

As Dubai continues to position itself at the forefront of global cities in digital innovation, this platform marks a significant step toward a more transparent and trustworthy real estate environment.
