Dubai PodFest 2025: A Gathering for Podcasters

The Dubai Press Club (DPC) has unveiled an exciting lineup of workshops as part of the fifth edition of Dubai PodFest, set to take place on September 30. This event marks the region’s largest assembly of podcasters and promises to be a pivotal moment for audio content creators both locally and internationally.

Overview of Dubai PodFest

Under the auspices of Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, this year’s festival will unite leading media organizations and podcast platforms. The focus will be on exploring the future of podcasting, which has grown significantly in popularity.

Coinciding with International Podcast Day, the workshops aim to enhance the skills of audio content creators across the Arab world. This initiative underscores Dubai’s ambition to establish itself as a key player in the digital media landscape.

Workshops Focused on Skill Development

Mahfoudha Saleh, the Manager of Dubai PodFest, highlighted that these workshops align with DPC’s commitment to nurturing media talent and fostering excellence in podcasting. "This event provides a unique platform for sharing experiences and insights among audio content creators," Saleh stated, emphasizing the importance of understanding the necessary steps to elevate the industry amidst a global surge in podcast listenership and production.

The workshops will feature insights from renowned platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Podeo, Elwarsha, Dolby Atmos, Mics, Podheros, Under Pressure Podcast, Arabian Radio Network, and The Voice Centre. These collaborations promise to deliver valuable knowledge and best practices to participants.

Three Distinct Tracks for Comprehensive Learning

Participants will also gain insights into live streaming and strategies to enhance listener engagement.

A Hub for Innovation in Digital Media
