Dubai Taxi Company Partners with Keeta to Innovate Last-Mile Delivery

Strategic Collaboration for Enhanced Services

Dubai Taxi Company (DTC), a prominent player in mobility solutions in Dubai, has recently entered into an impactful partnership with Keeta, the international arm of Meituan, which is recognized for its on-demand delivery services in China. This collaboration aims to revolutionize last-mile delivery operations throughout the emirate, setting the stage for next-generation logistics solutions.

The agreement was formalized during the Gitex technology event held in Dubai, where Mansoor Rahma Alfalasi, CEO of Dubai Taxi Company, and Alex Wei, Logistics General Manager for Keeta Middle East, put pen to paper, marking a significant milestone in both companies’ journey.

Expanding Market Presence

This partnership aligns seamlessly with DTC’s strategic vision for long-term growth within the transport and delivery sectors. As the landscape of e-commerce and quick commerce (Q-commerce) rapidly evolves, this collaboration is set to unlock new investment opportunities and enhance commercial partnerships. The expected outcome is a marked increase in potential revenue for both parties involved.

As a core component of this initiative, DTC plans to launch an initial fleet of 150 delivery motorbikes. The goal is to expand this fleet to 500 motorbikes by the end of the year, reinforcing its dedication to meeting the soaring demand for on-demand delivery services in Dubai. This effort is projected to yield over AED 10 million in revenue during the first year, showcasing the potential profitability of the venture.

Growth of Delivery Services

DTC’s foray into the delivery bike segment has already shown promising results. In the second quarter of 2025, revenue from this segment soared by 102% compared to the previous year, reaching AED 18.2 million. This remarkable increase underlines DTC’s adaptability and its commitment to providing high-quality logistics solutions that cater to evolving market needs.

Future Innovations in Delivery Solutions

Beyond merely expanding its fleet of delivery bikes, the partnership with Keeta holds the promise of future innovation in logistics technology. Both companies are set to collaborate on advanced delivery solutions that incorporate cutting-edge technology. This includes the exploration of drones and autonomous vehicles to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations.

Keeta’s technological expertise will play a pivotal role in this endeavor, enabling both companies to drive significant advancements in the logistics sector. By managing these operations in partnership with DTC, Keeta aims to offer a comprehensive suite of services that will further streamline the delivery process for businesses and consumers alike.

Conclusion

The collaboration between Dubai Taxi Company and Keeta represents a significant step forward in the evolution of logistics in Dubai, particularly in the last-mile delivery sector. With a focus on expanding their fleet, increasing revenue potential, and exploring innovative technologies, this partnership is poised to set new standards in the mobility and delivery landscape of the emirate.

As the demand for fast and reliable delivery services continues to rise, this strategic alliance is well-positioned to meet the needs of consumers and businesses in a rapidly changing market. The partnership marks the beginning of a new chapter for both companies, signaling a commitment to innovation and excellence in the logistics space.
