In that time, around 18,000 Emirates customers have taken advantage of the additional connectivity made possible through their interline agreement. "Building on this success, we’ve recently announced the launch of two new Chinese cities—Shenzhen and Hangzhou—which will strengthen our East Asia operations," Kazim noted.

The new MoU will allow for reciprocal codesharing on select routes within each airline’s network.
