Emirates Group Unveils Ambitious Recruitment Drive

The Emirates Group has kicked off a significant talent acquisition initiative for the current financial year, with plans to hire 17,300 new employees across a diverse array of 350 roles within Emirates Airline and dnata. This initiative reflects the group’s commitment to bolstering its operations in a rapidly growing aviation sector.

Wide Range of Opportunities

This recruitment push encompasses a variety of positions that span the entire operations of the aviation group. The roles available include cabin crew, pilots, engineers, commercial and sales professionals, customer service agents, ground handling staff, catering experts, as well as positions in IT, human resources, and finance departments. Notably, dnata is on the lookout for over 4,000 specialists in cargo, catering, and ground handling to support its expanding services.

Vision for Growth

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, emphasized the strategic importance of this recruitment drive. He stated, “The Emirates Group’s people strategy is anchored in Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33 and our own projected growth and expansion. We’re seeking world-class talent to fuel our bold ambition, redefine the future of aviation, and continue our commitment to innovation and excellence. This is an opportunity for skilled professionals to play a pivotal role in our future and growth story.”

Engaging with Talent Globally

The Group has plans to organize over 2,100 open days and talent acquisition events in 150 cities around the globe throughout the year. These events aim to attract a range of candidates, specifically targeting pilots, IT experts, engineers, and cabin crew. Dedicated sessions will also be held in Dubai to engage UAE national students and recent graduates, fostering homegrown talent.

Recent Hiring Trends

This initiative is a continuation of the Emirates Group’s recent successful hiring activities. Since 2022, the organization has welcomed more than 41,000 professionals into its workforce, which now totals 121,000 individuals. The surge in employment opportunities highlights the group’s robust expansion and operational needs.

The Emirates Group has seen considerable interest, receiving over 3.7 million applications in the past financial year alone. Applicants are often drawn to the company by its stellar reputation, a people-first strategy, and attractive benefits such as tax-free salaries, extensive training programs, and comprehensive benefits packages.

Attractive Employee Benefits

Employees based in Dubai can look forward to numerous benefits, including eligibility for profit sharing, access to medical and life insurance, travel perks such as annual leave and service-related flight tickets for themselves and their families, as well as concessional cargo rates. Additionally, membership cards provide discounts at various retail, hospitality, and lifestyle outlets, making the employment experience at Emirates Group even more appealing.
