CybExer Expands UK Presence with New Office at Dorset Innovation Park to Boost National Cybersecurity

CybExer Expands Horizons with New Office in Dorset Innovation Park

In a significant move for the UK cybersecurity landscape, CybExer, a global leader in Cyber Range technology, has opened its new office at the Dorset Innovation Park, a frontline hub for defence and security innovation. This development, which took place in March, marks an important step towards enhancing national cybersecurity readiness.

Andrus Kivisaar, CEO of CybExer, emphasized that the Dorset Innovation Park serves as an “ideal environment” for collaboration, offering the opportunity to work with industry leaders and government agencies to bolster cybersecurity preparedness. The new office is set to act as a central hub for CybExer’s operations in the region, facilitating the deployment of its cutting-edge Cyber Range technology.

This expansion is reflective of a broader movement across the UK, where cybersecurity hubs are emerging outside of London. From Herefordshire to Leeds and Belfast to Powys, these initiatives are not only bolstering regional economies by creating jobs but are also critical to national defence.

Dan Kitchen, CEO of razorblue, highlighted Manchester as a prime example of this trend. With a thriving tech ecosystem and a skilled workforce, the city has established itself as a cybersecurity powerhouse, drawing significant investment and fostering collaboration.

Tim Parker from PA Consulting noted that these regional clusters are vital for awareness and training initiatives, enabling local businesses to access cybersecurity resources and grants, enhancing their resilience against growing cyber threats.

Muhammad Yahya Patel, Lead SE at Check Point, echoed this sentiment, stating that decentralizing cybersecurity efforts is crucial for national resilience. The establishment of regional hubs not only diversifies expertise but also fosters training opportunities, addressing the skill gap in the industry.

As CybExer’s new office opens its doors, it signals a promising future for cybersecurity collaboration in the UK, paving the way for enhanced security and innovation across regions.
