In a significant move to bolster its fight against ransomware threats, Halcyon has announced the appointment of Oliver Newbury as Strategic Advisor. With a wealth of experience in global cyber leadership, Newbury is set to enhance Halcyon’s growth trajectory and empower businesses to effectively combat the ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats.

Newbury brings a distinguished background to his new role, currently serving as a Senior Advisor to TPG, a global alternative asset management firm, and holding board positions at Immersive Labs and GALLOS Technologies. His previous experience includes serving as the Global Chief Information Security Officer for Barclays and Chief Technology Officer for BT’s Security Division, where he spearheaded transformative cybersecurity initiatives.
