Fortinet Delivers New Enhancements to its Unified SASE Solution

Fortinet Enhances Unified SASE Solution with Sovereign SASE and GenAI Capabilities

Fortinet, a leading cybersecurity company, has recently announced the addition of sovereign SASE and generative AI (GenAI) capabilities to its robust unified SASE solution. This update aims to provide customers with a comprehensive and highly flexible unified SASE solution.

The Fortinet Unified SASE solution integrates the company’s Secure SD-WAN solution and cloud-delivered security service edge (SSE) under a single console for seamless management, visibility, and security. According to John Maddison, Chief Marketing Officer at Fortinet, the company is the only vendor offering a truly integrated solution with unparalleled deployment flexibility.

One of the key features of the updated solution is the introduction of sovereign SASE, which allows organizations to maintain local control over inspection and logs, ensuring data privacy and compliance. This is especially important for organizations operating in highly regulated verticals such as finance, government, and healthcare.

Additionally, Fortinet has introduced FortiAI for SD-WAN, a GenAI assistant that helps IT and cybersecurity staff make better decisions faster. This integration accelerates and enhances the management and orchestration of SD-WAN infrastructure, making it quicker and more efficient for customers to deploy and manage their solutions.

Fortinet is committed to continuous innovation and releases monthly updates to address the changing needs of organizations and stay ahead of attackers. Recent updates include features like remote browser isolation, improved network performance for SD-WAN, native SCIM support, and universal ZTNA updates.

Fortinet will be hosting a Unified SASE Summit on October 10, where attendees can learn more about the future of SASE and how it is reshaping hybrid work security. The event will feature insights from Fortinet customers, Google Cloud, and Gartner experts.

With these new enhancements and capabilities, Fortinet continues to solidify its position as a leader in the cybersecurity industry, providing customers with advanced solutions to protect their digital assets.
