Genetec Unveils New SaaS Security Centre Solution

Genetec Inc. has made waves in the security industry with the unveiling of its new enterprise-grade SaaS solution, the Security Center SaaS. This innovative offering provides businesses with the flexibility to choose the door controllers, cameras, and devices that best suit their operations.

Built on an open platform architecture, the Security Center SaaS allows organisations to seamlessly connect to the cloud using the latest Axis, Bosch, Hanwha, and i-PRO cameras. Additionally, companies can bring their existing access control and camera hardware to the cloud through the new range of Genetec Cloudlink appliances, maximizing their infrastructure investment.

One of the key features of the Security Center SaaS is its direct-to-cloud connection support for Axis, Bosch, Hanwha, and i-PRO devices. This enables customers to securely connect, enrol, and manage their devices in a variety of deployment options, including direct device-to-cloud streaming of video, metadata, and access control data.

The integration of Bosch cameras with the Genetec Security Center SaaS is seamless, with firmware version 9.21 set to provide camera configuration capabilities and video viewing through direct-to-cloud connections. Similarly, Hanwha Vision’s Q series cameras are fully compatible with the solution, with plans to expand support across their entire product line.

Meanwhile, i-PRO is working on making as many existing camera models as possible compatible with the new Genetec solution through an app-based approach. This commitment to compatibility and innovation sets Genetec apart in the security industry, offering businesses a cutting-edge solution for their security needs.
