Hanwha Vision Joins United Nations Global Compact: Commitment to Sustainable Management and ESG Efforts

Hanwha Vision, a leading provider of video surveillance solutions, has recently made a significant commitment to sustainability by joining the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). This move aligns the company with the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, which encourages businesses to integrate key principles related to human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption into their operations.

With over 20,000 participants across 167 countries, the UNGC provides a framework for companies to contribute to a more sustainable future. Hanwha Vision’s President and CEO, Soonhong Ahn, expressed the company’s dedication to upholding global standards for sustainable management through this partnership.

By becoming a member of the UNGC, Hanwha Vision will enhance its environmental, social, and governance (ESG) efforts and incorporate the organization’s principles into its daily business practices and corporate culture. The company will also provide annual Communication on Progress (CoP) reports to demonstrate its progress and maintain transparency with stakeholders.

In addition to joining the UNGC, Hanwha Vision has been actively communicating its ESG progress and future plans through its Sustainability Report. By taking these steps, the company aims to lead the way in promoting sustainability within the video surveillance industry.

This decision by Hanwha Vision showcases its commitment to making a positive impact on the environment and society while also aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. As the company continues to prioritize sustainability, it sets an example for other businesses to follow in creating a more sustainable future for all.
