Hikvision to Showcase TOCC at ITS World Congress 2024

Hikvision, a global leader in video surveillance technology, is gearing up to showcase its latest innovation, the Traffic Operation Command Center (TOCC), at the upcoming ITS World Congress 2024 in Dubai. The event, scheduled from September 16th to 20th, will be a platform for Hikvision to demonstrate how AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) can revolutionize urban mobility.

At booth number H6-G6, attendees will have the opportunity to explore Hikvision’s forward-thinking approach to urban mobility under the theme: Embrace AIoT for safer, smarter, and greener mobility. The company will unveil a wide range of solutions aimed at improving urban transportation, including managing traffic violations, optimizing road operations, and enhancing smart public transport.

One of the highlights of Hikvision’s showcase will be a case study demonstrating how their green wave technology has significantly reduced travel time on a major road with 34 intersections. Additionally, a simulated bus environment will showcase how AI-assisted on-board monitoring enhances safety and efficiency in public transport.

The TOCC, at the core of Hikvision’s presentation, consolidates data from various urban elements into a central hub, promising to revolutionize how cities manage their traffic systems. Frank Zhang, President of Hikvision MEA, expressed excitement about the opportunity to showcase how AIoT can create safer, smarter, and greener urban environments.

With cutting-edge technologies such as integrated traffic enforcement devices, green wave systems, and AI-powered traffic cameras, Hikvision is paving the way for a more efficient, environmentally friendly transportation system. The company’s participation in the ITS World Congress underscores its commitment to making cities more sustainable for future generations.
