Electric Drive Upgrade for INA Refinery in Croatia

INA is modernizing its refinery in Rijeka to enhance efficiency and reduce emissions. The project involves replacing steam turbines with electric drive systems, significantly lowering reliance on fossil fuels and improving energy efficiency. This upgrade, executed in partnership with Siemens Energy, includes four electric drive train systems with motors ranging from 1.8 MW to 6 MW. As a result, INA anticipates a reduction of 96,000 tons of CO₂ emissions and a 25% decrease in high-pressure steam production.

Turbine Replacement for Repsol Industrial Complex in Spain

Repsol has electrified a gas compressor at its Puertollano Industrial Complex by substituting a steam turbine with an electric motor solution from Innomotics. This upgrade is projected to improve energy efficiency by 25% and reduce CO₂ emissions by approximately 68,000 tons annually. The system, which includes a High Voltage Motor and a Perfect Harmony GH180 Medium Voltage Drive, is designed for high reliability and enables maintenance intervals of up to five years.

Turbine Replacement Technology for a Chemicals Park in the Netherlands

A chemicals park in the Netherlands is accelerating its energy transition with a turbine replacement project aimed at achieving net zero emissions within the next decade. Innomotics has been awarded a contract that includes a 25 MW and an 8.6 MW high-speed induction motor, along with two Medium Voltage GH150 drives.

Power Plants in the Republic of Korea

In South Korea, a major energy provider has contracted Innomotics to replace outdated turbine technology with a 12.5 MW electric High-speed High Voltage Motor and Medium Voltage Drives. This upgrade is expected to enhance energy efficiency by at least 20%, contributing directly to the company’s net zero carbon strategy.

Propane Dehydrogenation Plant in Spain

A German chemicals and plastics giant is also pursuing net zero emissions by 2050. As part of this initiative, the company is replacing steam production at co-generation plants with heat pumps and electric-driven compressors. The turbine replacement project at their propane dehydrogenation plant includes a 23.3 MW High-speed High Voltage induction motor and a Medium Voltage Drive.

Pilot Order for Indian Natural Gas Company

Innomotics has secured a pilot order to replace one of eight installed gas turbines for a state-owned energy corporation in Madhya Pradesh, India. This order represents a significant benchmark in the gas turbine replacement market, utilizing an Innomotics High Voltage HV-M Motor alongside a gearbox and a Medium Voltage Drive.
