In an extraordinary achievement that has captured global attention, Jagdeep Singh, the former CEO and visionary founder of Quantumscape, has been reported to earn an astonishing annual compensation of ₹17,500 crore (approximately $2.06 billion). This staggering figure translates to an impressive daily income of ₹48 crore, making Singh the highest-paid individual worldwide and outpacing the revenue of various multinational corporations.

Singh’s journey to this pinnacle of success is a story of brilliance and relentless drive. Armed with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, a Master’s from Stanford, and an MBA from UC Berkeley, Singh embarked on his career with tech giants like HP and Sun Microsystems. His entrepreneurial journey began with the launch of AirSoft in 1992, leading to the founding of Quantumscape in 2010. The company has revolutionized energy storage with groundbreaking solid-state battery technology, aimed at addressing significant challenges in the electric vehicle (EV) sector, such as range anxiety and charging times.
