F5 Welcomes Lyra Schramm as Chief People Officer and Kunal Anand as Chief Technology Officer

F5, Inc. has made significant additions to its executive leadership team with the appointment of Lyra Schramm as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer (CPO) and Kunal Anand as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Schramm, who brings a wealth of experience from roles at Google, AWS, and the Gates Foundation, will be responsible for driving people initiatives that support F5’s mission to create a better digital world and position the company for continued growth. She is excited to bring a fresh perspective to building an innovative workplace culture at F5 and looks forward to driving initiatives aligned with the company’s next phase of growth.

On the other hand, Anand, who previously held roles at Imperva, Prevoty, BBC Worldwide, and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, will be setting the technology vision for F5. With expertise in cybersecurity and data, Anand aims to accelerate F5’s leadership in securing every app, everywhere, including in API security.

François Locoh-Donou, President and CEO of F5, expressed his excitement about the new appointments, stating that Schramm and Anand bring business acumen and fresh perspectives that will raise the bar for the company. He believes that their leadership will have a significant impact on F5 as they continue to power and protect applications used by millions of people worldwide.
