Milestone Systems Unveils Security Enhancements Targeting the Middle East Market

  • Milestone Systems has rolled out upgrades across its entire security technology portfolio.
  • The updates are designed to provide security teams in the Middle East and beyond with effective and user-friendly tools.
  • Key enhancements include updates to XProtect video management software, BriefCam’s AI-powered analytics, and Arcules cloud video security.

In light of the rapidly changing landscape of surveillance and security in the Middle East, Milestone Systems has announced significant updates to its technology offerings. This refresh includes enhancements to their XProtect video management software, BriefCam AI-driven analytics, and Arcules cloud video security solutions.

The newly introduced features are specifically crafted to equip security teams in the region with efficient, user-friendly tools aimed at improving response times, reinforcing the safety of both individuals and assets, and streamlining daily operations.

One of the standout features in the latest XProtect 2025 R2 is the integration of access control directly onto the Smart Map interface. This innovation allows operators to visualize doors and access points, including card readers, entry gates, turnstiles, and other controlled entry devices, alongside their camera feeds. Such integration significantly enhances the efficiency of facility security monitoring.

Recent updates to BriefCam place a focus on delivering improved reliability and ease of use for security teams that utilize video analytics. These enhancements are expected to bolster the performance of surveillance operations, allowing for quicker and more informed decision-making.

According to Louise Bou Rached, Director for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa at Milestone Systems, “Countries like the UAE and Saudi Arabia are leading the way in the adoption of AI-enhanced surveillance technologies aimed at boosting public safety. With the fast pace of technological advancements, it’s essential for security companies to remain proactive and to keep evolving AI capabilities alongside their service offerings.”

Bou Rached added, “These upgrades give security professionals the tools they need to enhance the protection of people and assets while speeding up operational workflows. By reaffirming Milestone’s leadership in integrated security solutions, our ongoing commitment to innovation empowers security experts to address contemporary challenges, whether within physical premises or in the cloud environment.”
