ServiceNow Unveils AI Agents for Telecom at Mobile World Congress 2025

Barcelona, Spain – In a groundbreaking announcement at Mobile World Congress 2025, ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) introduced a suite of AI agents specifically designed for the telecommunications industry. Developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, these innovative agents leverage NVIDIA AI Enterprise software and the NVIDIA DGX Cloud platform to revolutionize customer service and network operations for communications service providers (CSPs).

Rohit Batra, General Manager and Vice President at ServiceNow, emphasized the transformative potential of these AI agents, stating, “AI continues to be the key driver of business transformation in telecom. Our collaboration with NVIDIA marks a significant step in delivering agentic AI-powered automation that enhances how CSPs operate and serve their customers.”

The AI agents are engineered to streamline labor-intensive workflows, enabling CSPs to autonomously resolve common issues, from network repairs to billing inquiries. By employing advanced reasoning and context-aware actions, these agents can predict service disruptions, analyze network data, and even coordinate repair schedules, significantly enhancing customer satisfaction.

Chris Penrose, NVIDIA’s Global VP of Business Development for Telecom, highlighted the urgency for AI acceleration in the industry, noting, “ServiceNow is helping its customers improve efficiency, optimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction through AI-powered automation.”

With the potential to unlock up to $250 billion in value by 2040, according to McKinsey, the integration of these AI agents could transform exceptional customer service into a strategic advantage for telecom companies. The new agents will be available starting March 12, coinciding with ServiceNow’s Yokohama release, marking a pivotal moment in the evolution of telecom operations.

As the telecom landscape continues to evolve, ServiceNow and NVIDIA are poised to lead the charge in AI-driven innovation, setting a new standard for customer experience and operational efficiency in the industry.
