SANS Institute Brings World-Class Cybersecurity Education to the Middle East

SANS Institute, a global leader in cybersecurity education, is gearing up to host two major events in the Middle East this September. SANS Manama will take place from 7-12 September at the InterContinental Bahrain, followed by SANS Doha from 14-19 September at the InterContinental Doha. These events will offer world-class cybersecurity courses designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to combat current and emerging cyber threats.

The courses at SANS Manama will include FOR508: Advanced Incident Response, Threat Hunting, and Digital Forensics, as well as LDR414: SANS Training Program for CISSP Certification. These courses will provide participants with advanced skills in incident response and digital forensics, as well as prepare them for the CISSP exam.

One of the highlights of SANS Manama will be the Community Night session on 9 September, focusing on the importance of proper digital forensics in achieving justice. The session will showcase real-world cases where digital forensic evidence played a crucial role in delivering justice.

Meanwhile, SANS Doha will feature courses such as SEC504: Hacker Tools, Techniques, and Incident Handling, and SEC560: Enterprise Penetration Testing. These courses will teach participants how to effectively respond to breaches and strengthen their skills in penetration testing.

Ned Baltagi, Managing Director for the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey at SANS Institute, emphasized the importance of these events in staying ahead of evolving cybersecurity threats. He highlighted the significance of building a stronger and more resilient cybersecurity community in the region.
