SAP Appoints Saquib Ahmad as Managing Director for Bahrain, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan

SAP, a global leader in technology and software solutions, has announced the appointment of Saquib Ahmad as the Managing Director for its operations in Bahrain, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. With nearly 25 years of experience in the IT and telecommunications industry, Ahmad is set to drive Digital Transformation and AI capabilities for companies in the region.

Ahmad’s new role comes at a crucial time as the Middle East and Africa region sees rapid growth in digital innovation and technology adoption. Ahmed AlFaifi, Senior Vice President of SAP Middle East and Africa – North, expressed his confidence in Ahmad’s ability to lead the region towards embracing new technologies and driving valuable benefits for both public and private sectors.

Prior to this appointment, Ahmad served as the Managing Director for SAP Pakistan, where he successfully expanded SAP’s presence in the country and facilitated the Digital Transformation of various organizations. With a strong background in IT and leadership, Ahmad is well-equipped to spearhead SAP’s growth in Bahrain, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

Ahmad’s focus will also extend to building partnerships and empowering youth with digital skills to thrive in the evolving digital economy. His academic qualifications, including a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication and Electronics, along with his accolades such as the Aizza-e-Sabqat Presidential Award for Academic Excellence, showcase his dedication to excellence.
