Introducing Singularity Cloud Workload Security for Serverless Containers by SentinelOne

SentinelOne Launches Singularity Cloud Workload Security for Serverless Containers

In a bid to address the growing security risks associated with ephemeral cloud environments, SentinelOne, a global leader in AI-powered security, has unveiled its latest offering – Singularity Cloud Workload Security for Serverless Containers. This new solution aims to provide real-time, AI-powered protection for containerized workloads running on AWS Fargate for Amazon ECS and Amazon EKS.

Ephemeral containerized workloads running on AWS Fargate offer businesses rapid scale and deployment capabilities, but their short-lived nature poses a significant security challenge. Attackers can exploit vulnerabilities within seconds, compromising these resources and potentially gaining access to more valuable assets within the cloud environment.

Ely Kahn, Vice President of Product Management, Cloud Security at SentinelOne, emphasized the importance of securing serverless infrastructure services to accelerate innovation at scale. With AWS Fargate enabling developers to focus on building applications without managing servers, Singularity Cloud Workload Security ensures that these resources are protected securely.

The AI-powered runtime protection offered by Singularity Cloud Workload Security leverages five autonomous detection engines to identify threats such as ransomware, zero-days, and file-less exploits in real-time. This solution is part of SentinelOne’s comprehensive cloud security portfolio, which includes Singularity Cloud Native Security and Singularity Cloud Data Security.

By integrating with AWS services like CloudTrail and Security Hub, SentinelOne’s Singularity Platform provides a unified, intelligent security solution that protects the entire enterprise across every endpoint, identity, and workload on every cloud. The platform is further enhanced by Purple AI, an advanced generative AI security analyst that accelerates threat hunting and investigations, reducing Mean Time to Response and delivering end-to-end AI-powered security.

Support for Fargate EKS is now generally available, with early adopters able to access support for Fargate ECS. With Singularity Cloud Workload Security, organizations can enhance their cloud security posture and mitigate the risks associated with serverless containers in today’s ever-evolving threat landscape.
