Secutech Vietnam 2026 Advances Smart Safety and Infrastructure Solutions in Hanoi

Secutech Vietnam is poised to return to Hanoi from September 9 to 12, 2026, marking a significant convergence of technology providers and manufacturing leaders in the realm of industrial development, public infrastructure, and urban transformation. This event will take place at the Friendship Cultural Palace, showcasing 480 exhibiting brands across 13,000 square meters and is anticipated to attract over 17,000 trade visitors from the security, fire safety, and smart building sectors.

Significance of the Event

The relocation of Secutech Vietnam to the capital coincides with the 65th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Force. This timing underscores Hanoi’s increasing importance as a hub for advanced, safety-driven manufacturing and industrial automation. The event offers exhibitors direct access to a rapidly evolving and strategically significant market.

Regina Tsai, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd – Taiwan Branch, expressed enthusiasm about the event’s return to Hanoi, emphasizing its role as a key decision-making center for discussions surrounding smart infrastructure and public safety in Vietnam. She noted that Secutech Vietnam is the only business platform in the country with a long-standing presence in the security, fire safety, and smart building sectors, benefiting from robust official support from the Ministry of Public Security and the Fire & Rescue Police Department.

Economic Context and Urban Development

Vietnam’s economy experienced an expansion of 8.02% in 2025, attracting USD 38.42 billion in foreign direct investment, primarily in manufacturing and processing. Building on this momentum, the Vietnamese government is focused on enhancing Hanoi’s urban rail, transport networks, and smart urban planning. The development of satellite towns and industrial zones aims to alleviate urban pressure, with a strong emphasis on logistics, clean energy, and automation.

As these initiatives progress, Secutech Vietnam 2026 serves as a timely platform for technology providers and project stakeholders to engage with the capital’s increasing demand for adaptable smart safety and digitally enabled infrastructure.

Innovations on Display

This year’s fair will highlight a diverse array of AI, IoT, and ICT-enabled technologies tailored for smart buildings, factories, and urban infrastructure. The exhibits will focus on practical tools that enhance asset performance, support operational safety, and enable scalable, integrated systems across Vietnam’s rapidly developing industrial and public sectors. Solutions showcased will encompass video surveillance, fire protection, access control, building automation, disaster prevention, and connected safety systems.

Dedicated Product Zones

The event will feature dedicated product zones, including:

  • Building Security & Access Management
  • Disaster Prevention & Emergency Response
  • ICT & Building Infrastructure Solutions
  • PPE & Industrial Safety
  • Robotics & Drones

International pavilions from Japan, Korea, and Singapore will also present the latest technologies tailored to local requirements and project specifications.

Engaging Learning Opportunities

A series of dynamic fringe events will enhance the visitor experience and foster deeper engagement at the show. These will include seminars addressing current challenges in security and fire safety, outdoor demonstrations of integrated solutions and equipment, and business matching sessions that connect exhibitors with local decision-makers.

New for 2026, SPS Stage Vietnam will serve as a dedicated platform to showcase how advanced manufacturing technologies are enabling safer, smarter, and more resilient industrial environments. As part of the global SPS series, this seminar will spotlight key industry trends and emerging solutions shaping Southeast Asia’s production landscape, bringing together machine builders, system integrators, production engineers, factory managers, CTOs, and IT stakeholders for focused discussions on secure and future-ready operations.

Concurrent Events

Held concurrently with Secutech Vietnam 2026, Fire & Safety Vietnam will spotlight innovations in fire prevention, rescue, and industrial safety, while SMABuilding will focus on building automation, IoT integration, and energy efficiency. Together, these dedicated events broaden the scope of the platform, offering specialized solutions for safety, security, and smart building development.
