Sonali Shah Appointed as New CEO of Cobalt, Leading Provider of Offensive Security Solutions

In a recent press release, Cobalt, a pioneer of Pentest as a Service (PtaaS) and a leading provider of offensive security solutions, announced the appointment of Sonali Shah as its new Chief Executive Officer. Shah, a cybersecurity executive with over 20 years of experience, will be taking the reins from Chris Manton-Jones, who has held the position since April 2022.

The appointment of Shah comes at a pivotal time for Cobalt, as the company has seen significant growth and success in the past year. Cobalt has expanded its product suite to a comprehensive platform that allows organizations of all sizes to scale offensive security testing across their entire organization. The company also achieved record-breaking numbers of pentests performed on its platform in the past quarter, as well as receiving recognition for leading industry awards.

Shah’s deep expertise in cybersecurity, including her role in pioneering the cybersecurity risk rating platform Bitsight Security Ratings, will further propel Cobalt’s growth. Her strategic leadership and product vision will be invaluable in driving the company’s expansion in the PtaaS space and offensive security sector.

In response to her appointment, Shah expressed her excitement about working with the team at Cobalt to help enterprises manage the risk of their expanding attack surfaces. She emphasized the company’s commitment to providing maximum value to customers as their offensive security needs evolve.
