Turkish President meets with Saudi Arabia Minister of Defense

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan recently met with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, at the Presidential Palace in Ankara, Turkey. The meeting was filled with diplomatic pleasantries as the Minister conveyed greetings from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to President Erdogan and the Turkish government.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation between their countries. They also delved into regional and international developments, focusing on efforts to promote peace and security in the region and beyond.

The meeting was attended by high-ranking officials from both sides, including the Director General of the Office of the Minister of Defense and the Chairman of the Defense Industries Authority. Additionally, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler welcomed Prince Khalid bin Salman at the Turkish Ministry of Defense headquarters for an expanded bilateral meeting.

The discussions at the meeting centered on further developing the existing cooperation between the defense ministries of Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Both leaders emphasized the importance of working together to achieve peace and security in the region and the world.

The visit concluded with an official reception ceremony for Prince Khalid bin Salman at the Ministry’s headquarters, where the two Ministers exchanged greetings and took a commemorative photo. The meeting highlighted the strong diplomatic ties between Saudi Arabia and Turkey and their commitment to fostering mutual cooperation for the benefit of both nations.
