Critical Communications World (TTCA) Announces Winners of 2024 International Critical Communications Awards

The Critical Communications Association (TCCA) made headlines on Tuesday as they announced the winners of the 2024 International Critical Communications Awards (ICCAs). These prestigious awards recognize the most outstanding products, individuals, and organizations that have made significant contributions to the industry over the past year.

Hosted by TCCA, the ICCAs are considered the most prestigious awards in the critical communications space. The awards ceremony took place at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City, in conjunction with the Critical Communications World (CCW) 2024, the industry’s premier global conference and exhibition.

With industry experts, executives, investors, and stakeholders in attendance, the ICCAs showcased the sector’s leading lights across 13 categories. Kevin Graham, CEO of TCCA, praised the winners for their innovative practices and creative flair, emphasizing the importance of staying ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving world of critical communications.

Among the winners were Airbus Defence and Space for their ‘Advances in sustainability’ award-winning Agnet TETRA project, and Alea, a Leonardo company, for their Direct Mode MCPTT Communication using 5G-Sidelink project. Other winners included FirstNet, Hoimyung ICT, Southern Linc, and Hytera for their contributions to critical communications across various sectors.

Individuals were also recognized for their outstanding contributions, with Ali Helenius of Airbus Space and Defence winning the Phil Kidner Award and Veronica Pecchioli of Leonardo receiving the ‘TCCA Young Engineer of the Year’ award.

Overall, the winners were commended for their efforts in advancing the field of critical communications and contributing to the industry’s growth and development. As Critical Communications World opens its doors with the theme ‘Securing society and industry,’ these winners exemplify the ongoing efforts to achieve this goal.
