Expansion of Partnership between Accenture and SandboxAQ to Strengthen Enterprise Data Encryption and Resilience

Accenture and SandboxAQ have announced an expansion of their partnership to address the critical need for enterprise data encryption in the face of current data breaches and future AI and quantum threats. The joint offering aims to help organizations secure sensitive data and strengthen encryption across their technology portfolios, while also providing observability to increase enterprise resilience and lower the impact of third-party risks.

According to research from Accenture, more than half of CEOs view the accelerated pace of technology innovation as a top risk for cyberattacks, with a high percentage recognizing the importance of cyber trust and resilience in emerging technologies like generative AI and quantum computing. This underscores the importance of strong cryptography management to defend against evolving cyber threats.

As part of their commitment to cryptographic excellence, Accenture is introducing a new Encryption Risk Assessment service, integrated with SandboxAQ’s AQtive Guard. This service offers clients deep visibility into risks posed by weak cryptography, allowing them to upgrade encryption and enhance protection against ransomware, data theft, and manipulation campaigns.

Paolo Dal Cin, global lead of Accenture Security, emphasized the significance of data protection in safeguarding confidential business information and data used in AI applications. The assessment service helps clients identify potential risks to their data and prepare for future threats from quantum computing.

The collaboration between Accenture and SandboxAQ aims to help global clients defend against advanced AI-driven cybersecurity attacks and enhance their cryptography defenses. By prioritizing recommendations for remediation action, businesses can protect their infrastructure against sophisticated threats and transition to post-quantum technology. The partnership highlights the importance of increasing observability across the enterprise to prevent future vulnerabilities and ensure data security.
