China Factory Products Export Fair 2025: A Gateway to Trade Opportunities
A Major Event in Ho Chi Minh City
From July 12 to 14, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City played host to the China Factory Products Export Fair 2025. This event drew attention not only for its scale but also for the potential trade opportunities it presented. Hundreds of manufacturers, particularly from Linyi city in Shandong province, showcased thousands of products. The offerings ranged widely, including everyday essentials, office supplies, chemical products, outdoor equipment, and hardware tools.
Format and Structure
This year’s fair embraced a collaborative format that allowed for segmented exhibition zones. Within the dedicated Chinese factory exhibition area, there were over 70 booths, allowing attendees to explore a diverse range of products. The event was designed to be inclusive, with both online and offline activities geared towards enhancing the experience for visitors. Additionally, around 200 well-established brands and enterprises from Vietnam and neighboring regions were invited to participate, aiming to facilitate market growth for local and international exhibitors alike.
Strong Attendance and Positive Reception
The fair attracted a substantial crowd, with numerous attendees expressing admiration for the quality and affordability of products marked "Made in Linyi." This response is significant, as it suggests a high level of interest in Chinese goods among Vietnamese consumers and businesses.
Direct Supply and Wide Range of Offerings
As key participants, Linyi companies leveraged their direct access to manufacturing resources to provide a wide array of high-quality products tailored to meet the diverse needs of the Vietnamese market. This approach not only satisfies local consumer demand but also enhances connections between Chinese and Vietnamese enterprises. The resulting collaboration fosters deeper cooperation and trade exchanges between the two nations.
Noteworthy Trade Growth
Reflecting on the previous year, Linyi achieved impressive results in foreign trade, illustrating evolving trade dynamics with Vietnam as well as other ASEAN countries. In 2024, bilateral trade between Linyi and Vietnam continued to grow steadily, reaching a combined import and export volume of 4.77 billion yuan (approximately $664.97 million). The trade balance appeared complementary; Linyi primarily exported wood veneer, plywood, and hand tools to Vietnam, while importing aluminum alloys, chemical raw materials, and natural rubber latex in return.
Expansion Within ASEAN
Looking beyond Vietnam, Linyi’s trade relationship with the entire ASEAN region also demonstrated robust growth in 2024. The total trade volume with ASEAN reached an impressive 40.15 billion yuan, marking a 16.2 percent year-on-year increase. This trajectory signifies the importance of ASEAN markets for Linyi and highlights future opportunities.
Future Outlook for Trade Relations
As Linyi looks to the future, there is a strong commitment to further strengthen economic and trade exchanges with Vietnam and other ASEAN nations. Efforts will focus on broadening cooperation fields and elevating the partnerships to facilitate mutual benefits and win-win scenarios for all parties involved.
In summary, the China Factory Products Export Fair 2025 served as a pivotal event for showcasing not just products, but also the potential for deeper trade relations between China and Vietnam. Through this platform, opportunities for growth and collaboration were clearly articulated, setting the stage for future developments in the region’s trade landscape.
