Hiperdist has been appointed as an authorized distributor for Huawei Cloud in the UAE, marking a significant expansion of their partnership aimed at enhancing cloud services in one of the Middle East’s fastest-growing markets. This collaboration seeks to bolster Huawei Cloud’s channel presence by recruiting and enabling partners to meet the increasing demand for cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and AI-driven solutions.

In a recent interview with Reseller Middle East, Adil Ali, General Manager of Hiperdist Gulf, and Salman Syed, Senior Channel Sales & Alliance Manager at Huawei Cloud Middle East, discussed the strategic implications of this partnership. They emphasized the importance of building a robust partner ecosystem to accelerate Huawei Cloud adoption across the region.

Strengthening Regional Cloud Capabilities

According to Ali, the partnership significantly enhances Hiperdist’s value proposition as a technology distributor in the Gulf region. “We bring established market knowledge and channel reach, while giving our partners access to a broader portfolio of cloud, data, and AI technologies,” he stated. The collaboration aims to combine Huawei Cloud’s innovative technology with Hiperdist’s regional expertise, facilitating partner onboarding, training, and market positioning.

Ali highlighted that the UAE represents a key growth market for the partnership, with opportunities extending across the Gulf region as cloud adoption accelerates. He noted that the demand for cloud services is driving the need for partners to develop and deliver solutions around cloud migration, data services, and AI technologies.

Building a Partner Ecosystem

Hiperdist is committed to enabling its partners to become “Huawei Cloud-ready” through structured onboarding and training programs. This includes providing access to Huawei Cloud expertise and supporting partners in developing the technical and commercial capabilities necessary to deliver cloud services effectively. “We help partners build the technical and commercial capabilities required to understand, position, and deliver Huawei Cloud services,” Ali explained.

Salman Syed added that Hiperdist plays a crucial role in bridging Huawei’s technology offerings with local partners, facilitating logistics, onboarding, and market expansion. “Customer expectations are evolving rapidly, with organizations seeking faster digital services, robust security, and localized cloud performance,” he noted. Hiperdist aims to address these needs by making Huawei’s portfolio more accessible and easier to procure.

Future Opportunities in AI and Data Services

Both executives pointed out that the current demand from the channel is heavily focused on cloud migration and infrastructure modernization. Looking ahead, they see significant opportunities in artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics. “The next big wave of opportunity is clearly in AI and data services,” Syed remarked, emphasizing the need for practical applications of AI in business operations.

As the partnership evolves, Hiperdist and Huawei Cloud are poised to transform how businesses in the UAE and the wider Gulf region approach cloud technology, moving from basic cloud storage to sophisticated, AI-driven workloads that can fundamentally change business operations.

This strategic collaboration not only enhances the capabilities of local partners but also positions Huawei Cloud as a key player in the region’s digital transformation landscape, addressing the growing demand for integrated solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
