Job Opportunities at Elon Musk’s AI Startup, xAI: Hiring 20 New Employees

Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence startup, xAI, is making waves in the tech industry with its recent announcement of $6 billion in funding. The company, known for developing the chatbot Grok, is now looking to expand its team by hiring around 20 new employees.

The positions, shared by xAI’s researcher Igor Babucshin and Elon Musk himself on X (formerly Twitter), include various AI roles and tech-related jobs. xAI is currently seeking AI Engineers and Researchers for Data/Crawling, Multimodal, Post-Training, and Pre-Training positions, offering annual salaries ranging from $180,000 to $440,000.

Technical skills required for these roles include Python, Jax, XLA, Rust, CUDA, and Spark. Additionally, xAI is looking to fill roles such as Product Backend Engineer, Product Mobile Engineer, Information Security Engineer, Infrastructure System Engineer, and Infrastructure Software Engineer, all offering competitive salaries.

The company is also hiring AI Tutors and AI Tutor Project Leads, with hourly and annual salary ranges specified. xAI aims to complete the hiring process within one week, with applications being reviewed directly by the technical team.

While most positions will be based in the Bay Area, xAI is open to exceptional candidates working remotely. The recent $6 billion investment will be used to bring xAI’s products to market, build advanced infrastructure, and accelerate research and development efforts.
