Nozomi Networks secures $100m investment to enhance cyber defences in critical infrastructure sectors

Nozomi Networks, a leader in OT/IoT security, has recently secured a US$100m Series E funding round to bolster its innovative cyber defences and expand its global market presence. The investment comes from industry giants Mitsubishi Electric and Schneider Electric, emphasizing the need for a security platform that can effectively defend heterogeneous environments.

Edgard Capdevielle, President and CEO of Nozomi Networks, highlighted the growing demand for OEM-agnostic security solutions in the face of escalating cyber threats against critical infrastructure worldwide. The company plans to utilize this funding to enhance product development and expand its global market reach.

Barbara Frei-Spreiter, from Schneider Electric, emphasized the importance of robust cybersecurity solutions that can scale across diverse industrial and critical infrastructure environments. Similarly, Satoshi Takeda from Mitsubishi Electric underlined the critical need to invest in cybersecurity for protecting essential infrastructure.

Nozomi Networks boasts partnerships with leading OT and IoT OEMs like ABB, Siemens, and Honeywell, enabling them to provide comprehensive cybersecurity support for heterogeneous operating environments. The company’s recent milestones include a decade of innovation in OT/IoT cybersecurity, protection of over 105 million devices globally, and a 5x growth in ARR since the launch of its Vantage product in 2021.

This latest funding round solidifies Nozomi Networks’ position as a global leader in critical infrastructure cybersecurity and reinforces the importance of investing in robust security solutions for the future. With the increasing complexity of cyber threats, organizations must reassess their approach to network security to ensure they are future-proofed against evolving risks.
